Hey folks,
How are you all holding up? Did everyone get an interview? Better question, did you get your applications in on time? Well that is good, because if you didn’t you’ll have to wait until next year, or hope that you know someone who knows someone that can get you an interview.
Is anyone else looking forward to the end of the “blackout period”, or just think that the whole setup this year has been a joke really because the small firms have been making offers BEFORE the blackout period to get around it. Have to love loopholes huh? Nice to know that the big and mid-sized firms are respecting the ICAA’s changes and trying to accomodate their employees busy schedules while still having interviews completed.
At any rate, recruitment ends on October 26th so get those interviews, office tours, and free dinners (with drinks) in while you can because after that they honeymoon starts to transition into marriage. (Although for some of you out there you may have wonderful marriages where you and your partner are always in bliss, but honestly you know that your honeymoon period was pretty awesome.)
